"What the ____" and I'm so glad when daddy comes home!!

Sometimes when you're doing something it just makes sense. Looking back you think
" What the hell was i thinking"
Instance 1: . Cutting Cordi's face hair all by myself. It was driving me crazy hanging in her eyes. Now it's driving me crazy being uneven and ugly. Why i thought i could do it myself. Who knows? It's repeatedly been a failed attempt. Yet, it made sense at the time...

Instance 2 in the "What the hell was i thinking"moment.
Right after i had the brilliant idea to cut Cordi's hair.(Literally minutes later) I realized how messy my bathroom's were. Probably because there was dog hair all over the one bathroom and if you're cleaning one bathroom, you might as well clean the other. Well a while back a friend told me bleaching your bathtub cleaned the jets really good. So i filled it up, poured the recommended amount of bleach in and turned on the jets. I shut the door and proceeded to finish cleaning dog hair bathroom. When i remembered the jets were still going (after like 20 minutes) i went into the bathroom to find bubbles EVERYWHERE. Not just any kind of bubble but bleach bubbles. I just rolled my eyes, told myself how smart i was then shut the door and said to myself."I'll take care of it later." It was a bright moment in my life. And i completly blame it on pregnancy brain. The photo below is taken like 2 hours after i found it. So add more bubble and you'll catch the vision of bubble bathroom.
PS it did clean the jets really good.

Below is a bad picture but it's the only one i had before my batteries ran out. This was the Richmond City Dairy Princess Pageant. It went just as well as it could have. The girls were great! Left to right. Me, Cole, Lachrisha Tribe. (2nd attendant) Kelbie Hamby, (queen), and Amber Coburn (1st attendant). Thanks to my Mom and Ann for helping judge and set up. You girls were my lifesavers.

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!!!
Yup there was a deer in our backyard. Wally immediatly found Cole, and a toy gun then proceeded to show Cole how you shoot a deer. How could a wife and mother be any prouder.

Yes it's true, Wally taught Cole that bracelets hang on the ear.

Cole LOVES daddy time!! Wally gets home and Cole immediatly will tackel his dad and start a tickling war. I love to see them play. I just laugh with them as i watch the chaos. I'm sure a lot of you can relate to the happiness of seeing your husband love and play with your kids. That's joy!!

We were at Wal-Mart the other day.Cole was so full of energy. He literally ran the whole lenghth and width of the store. He was running back to the front of the store when he spotted the toy gun isle. He immediatly stopped, went for the double barrel shot gun, grabbed hold and would NOT let go. We told him we wern't going to get it but our efforts to subdue the crying/screaming kid were to no avail. Wally, being the kind dad that he is, told Cole he'd put back his new tape measurer we were buying and instead get Cole his first double barrel shotgun. My heart melted. What a sacrifice. I really do have the best husband EVER!! (i realize we gave into our screaming kid which isn't very good parenting but how could i say no when wally sacrificed so much)
You can see by the picture below it was worth it.

The days that daddy doesn't come home (with late work nights or whatever) are so hard. We ALL look forward to that part of the day. One of my favorite sounds in the world is the garage door opening!

I loved all your little "moments." I don't think my brain has come back after pregnancy!

Sooo cute! I love the pictures of Cole and Wally. And the double barrel shot gun.

On a side note, I put bleach in our tub all the time to clean out the jets, but it NEVER bubbles like that. You must have had soap in the tub or something...

Enjoy the sloppy joes.

First, I can't believe you only have 2 months and 10 days left till Avery is born! I am getting just way too excited for words. Second, Super cool that there was a deer in your yard, and I love that Cole is learning how to hunt just like his daddy. Third, I LOVE watching Westin play with Serena. She always smiles so big when he comes home and I can just tell that he loves her SO much. Last, the picture of Cole aiming his double barrel at the camera is adorable... I can't believe how cute he is! I miss you guys tons and I really want to come see you!

Haha! I love the tub story when you saw all the bubbles and just shut the bathroom door! I do the "I'll take care of that later" deal quite often. Cole is getting so big! Do you think he understands that he is gonna be a big brother?
